Went to Glory days tonight with some of my friends from high school. We had the realization that most of us have known each other since first grade. We reminisced of everything, all the good and the bad moments that happened to us growing up. It’s great to know that even though we’re all at different schools and hanging with different people, we can still get together and be just as close as we were before. I’m incredibly grateful that I even have people like them in my life.
That’s the key word to describe today. Went to several different locations at Tysons Corner, Fair Oaks and even Merrifield plaza in Falls Church looking for a 2nd job. I got a couple of callbacks for interviews already and although it doesn’t mean shit on the actuality of me getting one of these jobs, it at least takes some stress off knowing that a couple of places are possibly considering me. After a long day of trekking through Nova traffic, which will always be a clusterfuck of monumental proportions, I went out to get a bite to eat with some friends at the pinnacle of Italian Cusine, the Olive Garden. Gio suggested it and going against my better instincts, we all decided to to take a chance with it. I ordered blue moon b/c it was the only suitable beer they had their and I wasn’t felling wine for some reason. I didn’t want to take any major risks, so I just got the Carne Alfredo, believing that I made the safe choice. Unfortunately I couldn’t have been more wrong. The food still was, to no surprise, complete shit. My butthole will have to suffer the price of my stupidity for the rest of the night. Going to be uncomfortable to get to bed, but hopefully these tums do they trick and I don’t shit bricks all night.
